Yamia - the hebrew word for water sports teaching center, where you can learn and practice sailing, rowing, windsurfing, surfing and more.
The lessons take place on the beautiful beach of “Maagan Michael”, next to the most southern tip of the Carmel mountain and “zichron Yaakov”.
The surfing and sailing school is located in between a long sandy beach and a fish pond.
The lessons structure will make your windsurfing/ surfing enjoyable and easy. It combines both learning and practicing.
The lessons are about 2 hours long, giving you enough time to learn and to practice without looking at your watch...
Windsurfing - We use the pond for all the basic teaching. Conditions are always good – flat water, an enclosed area and the sea breeze, which is usually lighter than in the open sea.
Surfing - The shallow water and sandy bottom beach provide great conditions for beginners for all the lessons and basic practicing.
There are a few other surf spots nearby for more advanced surfers, depending on the surf conditions.

Regular training in groups of up to 20 kids, learning various kinds of water sports – surfing, windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. Do it all - and you will become a “water man”.
During school year – Monday - Thursday - 3:00-5:00 pm. Friday – 10:00am-4:00pm
Summer holiday – July & August - surfing and windsurfing courses: Sunday - Thursday - 8:30am-1:00pm

Windsurfing and surfing trips - windsurfing trips to other beaches in Israel - Bat Galim beach in Haifa and the Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee). Surfing/ windsurfing trips over seas (Fuerteventura, Canary islands).
Lessons and practicing (2 hours) by booking:

Clinics and windsurfing vacations
Windsurfing clinics are the right way to improve and move forward with your windsurfing level.
We do a lot of training in and out of the water with the close and professional instructing of Alon Kaplan.
We focus on improving the technique, but we don't forget to have fun on the way.
Windsurfing clinics takes place in few spots in Israel, and other destinations in the world (Dominican Republic, Greece, Canary Islands and more to come).
We always try to get good windsurfing conditions with lots of fun on the beach, for a perfect "instructed windsurfing vacation".
